Terms of Use

1. Overview

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EventMeNow platform, website, and mobile application operated by EventMeNow Sdn. Bhd. (202501044484 / 1645892-X) ("EventMeNow", "we", "us").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use EventMeNow. By using our services, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements and are not barred from doing so under applicable law.

3. Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. The Service

EventMeNow is a marketplace platform that connects users planning events with independent event service vendors. We facilitate discovery, communication and booking, but are not a party to the service agreement between users and vendors. Vendors are solely responsible for the services they provide.

5. Bookings & Payments

• Bookings are contractual agreements between you and the vendor.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Review the vendor's cancellation and payment policies before confirming.
• EventMeNow does not hold funds. Payments transfer directly to vendors upon confirmation.
• Refund and cancellation terms are governed by each vendor's policy. See our Refund Policy.

6. Invoices

Invoices for completed transactions are available in the My Events section of the app and can be downloaded at any time. EventMeNow does not guarantee the tax validity of invoices for official accounting purposes — please consult the vendor directly.

7. Vendor Obligations

Vendors listed on EventMeNow agree to provide accurate service information, fulfil booked services as agreed, comply with all applicable laws, and maintain their verification status.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use EventMeNow to post false or fraudulent information, harass other users, circumvent platform payments, scrape content without permission, or use the platform for any illegal purpose.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on EventMeNow — including the name, logo, design, text and software — is the property of EventMeNow Sdn. Bhd. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EventMeNow is not liable for vendor performance, quality or failure to deliver services, indirect or consequential losses, or disputes between users and vendors. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via the app or website. Continued use of EventMeNow after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
